FOUNDER OF M.MARCEAU

With almost a decade of experience in the world of feathers, Plumassier (feather artisan), Maxime Leroy founder of M.Marceau, continues to cement his status as a unique visionary. Signing numerous collaborations in the realms of fashion, art, photography, cinema and interior design he is well known for his distinctive style. Earning credibility and notoriety from executing some of the most exquisite pieces of Haute Couture fashion for ChanelGivenchyJean Paul Gaultier and Louis Vuitton. Leroy, was also recognized internationally as one of the most inspirational and influential artisans in Olivier Dupon’s book “Encore! The New Artisans”

 

In March 2017, Leroy was awarded "lauréat du Prix de la Jeune Création Métiers d'Art" by the highly acclaimed foundation, Ateliers d'Art de France.

Leroy, is also co-founder of the French luxury House Sacco Baret, in which he plays an integral role contributing to the House's vision.

PROFESSOR

Leroy is currently a professor of Plumasserie at the Lycée Octave Feuillet (professional school of fashion crafts) in Paris. The only school in the world to offer the professional program “Artisanat d’Art: Plumasserie”.

 

ART EXPOSITIONS

In 2015, Leroy was appointed “Guest of Honor” at the European métiers d’art exhibition Résonances. He has also had the opportunity to exhibit his work for the inauguration of MAMO modern art center, Galerie Octagone and Galerie Dominique Fiat in Paris. In 2016, he was commissioned by the contemporary art center Palais de Tokyo supported by the Fondation Bettencourt Schueller, to completely adorn a motorcycle in feathers.
